My technical director waited until the last minute to tell me she couldn't do the projections. I did a quick search on Youtube & found a couple of good tutorials. I'm glad I learned how to do this because next time, I won't have to rely on someone else. The slides don't have to be elaborate. Just enough to suggest where the moment is taking place, or the theme of the moment. I even used animation to add "else" to a "Wyoming Like No Place on Earth" sign. Audiences laughed at that every night. Learn what projectors can & can't do. What a keystone is & what it does. How projectors can reverse images if you're projecting from backstage instead of the house. How to reverse images in Power Point if you're told you can't touch the projector settings. This way you are way ahead of the game. Best of all, get your projections up & running way before you think you have to. Tech stuff like this always takes three times longer than you think it will.
